Bionic Concepts - Deluxe Working Steampunk Wings. Opens to 6.5 feet wide. Powered by 16 Gram CO2 cartridges.

Wings are controlled by a hand held control pad used to open or close the wings. Connected by a line about 18 inches long which goes over your shoulder. The wings are powered by 16 gram threaded CO2 cartridges (not included). These cartridges screw into a custom made miniature CO2 regulator included with all sets of pneumatic wings. The miniature regulator is connected to the wings by a separate line about 24 inches long (long enough to keep the CO2 power source in your pocket). Simply screw in a CO2 cartridge into the regulator and you are good to go. Each cartridge allows you to open or close these wings about 40 times. CO2 cartridges can be bought online or from local bicycle shops where they are normally used for tire inflation. Search for "16 Gram Threaded CO2 Cartridges" online. CO2 cartridges are one time use only, once you have screwed a cartridge into the regulator DO NOT disconnect it until it has been fully depleted.

A box of 20 CO2 cartridges can usually be found for about $30.

Mini regulator dimensions are 3 inches long by 1 inch diameter without CO2 cartridge attached, and 6 inches long by 1 inch diameter with CO2 cartridge. Wings weigh approximately 15 pounds.

Complete aluminum and steel mechanism construction with a few ABS plastic highlights here and there. Wings strap to your back with 2 inch wide leather straps with snap on adjustable buckles. Includes central pressure gauge, and deluxe contoured rubber shoulder pads for comfortable use. Featuring a black finish and beige stretched fabric wing surface. Many other colors are available for the stretched fabric wing surface at the same price.

Electric Version now available, takes 10 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries (not included). Pressure gauge removed in the electric version. Electric version opens about 5% less wide and is significantly slower.
