V3.0 Metal Batman Gauntlets - Martial Arts Grade

Description

V3.0 Functional metal bat gauntlets designed for high impact martial arts protection.

Upgrades in this version from the previous V2:
- 43% Stronger aluminum alloy shell than the V2 (6061 alloy instead of 5052)
- 25% Thicker 14 gauge construction than the V2 (0.063" thick instead of 0.05")
- 3/8 inch thick high grip breathable natural gum rubber foam padding 
- Hand protection with wrist bridge tab
- Fit and range of motion further optimized 

The entire gauntlet including the the forearm, hand, and fins are made from high grade aerospace 6061-T6 aluminum.  Fins are 1/4 inch thick. Armor shell is 0.063" thick. Almost twice as strong as the V2 for much higher impact capability.  In addition the thick foam padding buffers impact, removing impact pressure points on your forearm and hand.  

NOTE: Padding switched to dark grey gum rubber foam by popular request.  All orders will be shipped with dark grey padding from now on (instead of white).  Padding has also been upgraded to the V3.5 version which is velcro removable so you can remove the padding and wear it over a jacket if you want.  Basically gives you two sizes in one.

Firm clamping of the forearm with 3 two inch wide high strength velcro straps allow impact force to be transmitted backwards through the fins. Potential uses could be for blocking, grabbing or locking weapons like swords, escrima sticks, or katanas.  Fin tips are blunted.

Sizing Instructions:

All armor we make is custom sized to the individual for the best possible fit.  Please include the following measurements and the gauntlets will be sized appropriately. Forearm Measurement Instructions - Measure your forearm where it's widest an inch or two from the elbow.  Measure while bending your elbow at 90 degrees and flexing.  The goal is to get the largest possible measurement.  If wearing over an outfit, make sure to take the measurement over the outfit.

Hand Measurement Instructions - Measure your hand as shown below.  If you intend to wear with a glove make sure to take the measurement over the glove.
